Campaign grows for one of the South West biggest events to make a return
A campaign launched on social networking site Facebook is daring to suggest that the SAS could bring back the legendary one night party to mark its 20th birthday.
The members only event, which used to be held at the end of every summer, was the highlight in the Cornish calendar for surfers and non surfers alike.
The ball was the charities main source of fundraising, but it was also used to highlight a number of environmental campaigns.
With big band names playing to the crowds such as Razorlight, Faithless and The Darkness the ball certainly has had a great musical past.
The Facebook group saw 500 members join the group within the first 24 hours, and currently stands at almost 1,500 fans.
The SAS have said that if they have the support and can find the finance then the ball will go ahead.
