Figures up just 70 on the previous month
There's some positive jobs news as the recovery from recession continues.
Official figures show the number of people claiming jobseeker's allowance dropped by more than 32 thousand in February - the biggest monthly fall since 1997.
The total number of unemployed also fell between November and January - to two-point-four million.
However across Cornwall the figure rose slightly to 10,400
This means across the county the percantage of people unemployed is still lower than the national average
