Newly released files from the MoD show Tintagel sighting

Flying Toblerones, mysterious illnesses and silky-white substances are among hundreds of close encounters described in previously top-secret files.

More than 6-thousand pages of material detailing incidents from 1994 to 2000 have been released by the Ministry of Defence.

Unidentified Flying Objects of all shapes and sizes have been witnessed flying over a wide range of locations.

The drawing, somewhat similar to a craft from Star Wars, was spotted hovering over Tintagel in North Cornwall on June the 22nd 1997.

Its not the first time UFOs have been spooted over Cornwall.

Back in August 2009 when the MOD last released their 'X Files' one was listed involving a naval officer who spotted a large disc shaped object landing in a school field in St Austell.

Other sightings released show Chelsea Football Club and the former Home Secretary Michael Howard's home in Kent.
