The cost of repairing Cornwall's roads after the recent severe weather could top five million pounds according to the council.
Cornwall Council say they've already started to identify the main problems and have allocated 1.75 million pounds to get repairs underway.
They say significant damage has been identified including potholes and cracks and they ask that the public stay patient.
Among the areas of road which have been identified as suffering the worst damage are the A39 at Winnards Perch and the road through Fourlanes, near Redruth.
