Shelterboxes arrive in Haiti
Sunday, January 17th 2010 08:45

The Cornish charity finally manages to get it's boxes into the quake hit country.
The first batch of Shelterboxes should have arrived in Haiti this weekend.
There had been problems getting them into Haiti due to clearance problems for the plane to land.
256 boxes full of aid will be distributed by a self sufficient team of Shelterbox volunteers.
Virgin Atlantic has been helping the charity by flying boxes out to Miami from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester airports.
The charity has been overwhelmed by the support it has received, and is still asking for people to help out in any way possible.
