Cornish Pirates vs Exeter Chiefs' PT III
The Pirates started the month with a home game in The Championship against Exeter Chiefs, and on Sunday they come back to finish off February in the British & Irish Cup competition.
For the Pirates there is the incentive not just to record a first win from what will have been three matches played against the Chiefs this season, but to also strive for their first victory against them since October 2007, when it was Jimmy Moore's injury-time try that caused the 'Rec' to rock!
Third-placed Pirates have named a strong side for Sunday's encounter, despite a number of players being unavailable because of injury.
In the forwards lock Mike Myerscough, who has been a replacement these past two weeks, will make his first start in a Pirates shirt, whilst one change in the back-row sees Tyrone Holmes come back into the side at open-side flanker in place of Sam Betty. Sam suffered rib damage playing his 100 th game for the Pirates last week. Of other players, Laurie McGlone is fit again and is listed among the replacements.
