
Schools in Cornwall to get their own vegetable patches in a bid to teach children more about food.
Children in Cornwall could learn how to grow vegetables at school as part of a new campaign.
The Dig Down South West project is to give 18 schools across the county their own vegetable patches.
They are also being encouraged to run cookery clubs using home-grown produce.
Campaigner and TV gardener Charlie Dimmock says "it's important young people learn more about sustainable living and where their food comes from".
